12 Tow Trucks Prepared in Car Free Night Locations

Jakarta Transportation Department has sent 700 personnel to manage traffic flow in some car free night locations that will be held on New Year's Eve. These locations are Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Thamrin, Ancol, Setu Babakan, Ragunan, Kota Tua, Kelapa Gading, Monas, etc.

"Our personnel will be spread in car free night locations during New Year's Eve," said Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Wednesday (12/30).

Besides personnel, he continued, as many as 12 tow trucks will also be sent to such locations in order to anticipate stalled vehicles in the field.

He added, his department also prepared parking lots in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), IRTI Monas, Istiqlal, Taman Lapangan Banteng and buildings around car free night locations.

"We hope the event could run conducive and smooth than last year," he hoped.
